Lost Depths

The entry submitted to the “2nd National College Students’ Chinese Classic Preservation and Inheritance Competition” in May 2022, which was co-hosted by the National Center for the Preservation of Ancient Books and the Steering Committee of the National Professional Degree Graduate Education in Library and Information Science, among other organizations, ultimately secured the second place in the Creative Design category.

This game was a collaborative effort by a quintet of developers at Tujian Studio, crafted to engage university students in the rich heritage of ancient texts and the vital field of document preservation, all in a manner that is both instructive and delightful. My role in this endeavor was to oversee the design of the game’s levels and the development of its scripts. The insights and achievements garnered from this project have been immortalized in the pages of the Journal of Documentation and Data.
